Glacier AO3P Quartz UV Sleeve

The UV Quartz Sleeve is a glass tube that you insert your Glacier AO3P ultraviolet bulb into which keeps it free and dry from any water or moisture intrusion in your system. The quartz sleeve can many times become “fouled” from deposits building around the outside of the glass from impurities in your water. A UV quartz sleeve should be replaced every 2 to 3 years. Factors that affect the frequency of sleeve changes include cleaning frequency and water quality. Quartz sleeves are very fragile, so exercise caution while handling your sleeve during cleaning and replacement.
